Today's Ontario budget will continue the reckless spending legacy of the McGuinty-Wynne government that preceded this Ford PC government.

And immediately after tabling their budget, the PC government is expected to adjourn the legislature for the June 2nd election.

Ontario Members of Provincial Parliament will not be given the opportunity to debate or ask questions on the Ford PC government's fiscal plans.

Why?

The Ford PC budget numbers will be masked in deception.

The Ford PCs will try to hide the fact that a large chunk of their spending is being funded by Justin Trudeau with an increase in federal government transfers to Ontario.

That's Doug Ford's reward for ensuring the Ontario PC Party is now a wing of the Trudeau Liberal Party of Canada.

The Ford PCs will also try to hide the fact that for four years they have offered no tax relief for Ontarians.

And the Ford PCs will try to hide the fact that they broke every single fiscal promise they made in the 2018 campaign, including a promise to reduce electricity rates.
