BREAKING! Belinda Forces Ford PC Flip-Flop on Bill 67!

Wednesday, April 13, 2022

I have great news to share with you!

Today, in the Ontario legislature, pressure from the New Blue Party's Belinda Karahalios forced the Ford PC government to flip-flop in their support of Bill 67.

This is an incredible turn of events!

It was just five weeks ago that all PC MPPs voted in favour of the bill.

During debate on Bill 67, Laura Mae Lindo, the NDP MPP who tabled the bill, argued that Ontario's education system was systemically racist, "replicating the colonial systems that perpetuate violence."

Three PC MPPs participated in the debate - including the Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister Education, MPP Sam Oosterhoff - and all of them agreed with Lindo's statements and were enthusiastically in favour of passing Bill 67 into law.

It wasn't until Belinda voted against Bill 67 that pressure was finally placed on the Ford PC government.

Backed by the grassroots support from thousands of Ontarians who added their names to the petition at StopWoke.ca, today, Belinda successfully challenged the Ford PCs and pressured them to flip-flop in their support of Bill 67.

While we were hard at work, others were too busy covering for the Ford PCs.

The Sloan-Nicholls Team were busy explaining why they voted in favour of Bill 67 - deceptively claiming they didn't understand the legislation. Next, they had to explain why they skipped the vote and the debate on Bill 100, only getting to it after Belinda voted against it.

Other "leading voices" like some professors, took to the podcast circuit to cover for the PCs and act as their PC apologists, claiming PC MPPs were "tricked" while pretending they had never heard of Belinda Karahalios or the New Blue Party.

And of course PAFE was too busy sending emails attacking me to excuse away and continue hiding their history in supporting establishment left-wing politicians like Patrick Brown, Doug Ford, Brian Patterson, and Erin O'Toole.

We all know the fight against critical race theory isn't over - school boards across Ontario are still implementing this ideology on students.

That is why we are supporting the petition at Stop-Woke.ca that Belinda will be presenting at Queen's Park.

If you haven't already please add your name to Stop-Woke.ca and download the petition and sign and mail it back to us.

While others continue to play political games and make excuses and apologies for the establishment political parties and the PCs, the New Blue will continue to challenge the left, balance the narrative, and change the course.

That is what we have done and will continue to do going into the June 2nd election and after.

I will have more to say on today's grassroots victory.

Until then, remember - the best is yet to come!
