The Doug Ford Ontario PC government caved, yet again.

Last week, we informed you that the Ford PCs were manufacturing the conflict with LCBO workers to drive up support among Ontarians for the PC Party's plan to benefit the lobbyist masters they serve.

The very next day, the Ford PCs backed down and gave public sector union bosses everything they asked for, and more!

The Ford government had the power to end the LCBO strike without recklessly committing to open taxpayers' wallets without restrictions.

But opening up the wallets of Ontario taxpayers with bottomless spending commitments is exactly what the Ford PCs did.

The Ford PC government agreed to an 8% raise for LCBO staff over the next three years, which was more than the 7% the LCBO had proposed.

On top of that, the Ford PCs guaranteed the jobs of 1,000 LCBO employees, regardless of whether they are needed in future and regardless of the LCBO's revenue.

How many for-profit businesses do you know that guarantee the jobs of their employees?

Or for that matter, how many people do you know with a guaranteed job?

The brokering of deals with left wing union bosses for the sake of serving PC lobbyists is just another example of the Ontario PC Party's transformation into the provincial wing of Justin Trudeau's Liberal Party of Canada.

It's clear that the Ford PCs are more interested in satisfying the demands of left wing leaders and enriching PC lobbyists than doing what is best for Ontario taxpayers.
