Early Treatment Would End the Mandates
Tuesday, February 8, 2022
The situation in Ottawa has become concerning since I left to come back home to Cambridge - all as a result of deceptive rhetoric from governments choosing to make an ideological statement rather than trying to solve a problem.
The solution to this societal unrest for the last two years has always been to end all of the existing mandates and to ban the future use of COVID-19 vaccine passports.
The command and control model of the Ford PCs have repeatedly failed and they needed to end a long time ago.
In a recent study, researchers led by a professor out of John Hopkins University concluded that there is "no evidence that lockdowns, school closures, border closures, and limiting gatherings have had a noticeable effect on COVID-19 mortality." Click here for the study.
The alternative was, and has always been, making early treatment options - like monoclonal antibodies - widely available for Ontarians with COVID-19.
But without any explanation or justification, the Ford PC government has made it difficult to access monoclonal antibody treatments and only approved their use in Ontario approximately a year and a half after COVID-19 was detected.
And now, even though monoclonal antibodies are finally available in a few Ontario clinics, it is sinister and nefarious that the Ford PCs have not promoted the treatment and continue to make most Ontarians ineligible to receive it.
Instead, we see authoritarian leftists like Doug Ford, Justin Trudeau, and Ottawa Mayor Jim Watson refusing to look for a better way forward.
They choose to dig in and shame and punish those who want their jobs, businesses, educations, and lives back.
While I was in Ottawa for five days, there was nothing on the ground that resembled what the corporate media and politicians like Ford, Trudeau, and Watson have been suggesting.
At one point, I was interviewed a few steps away from the crowd by one of the best and brightest young independent journalists in Ontario - Dakota Christensen of Rebel News.

During the interview, I addressed how the New Blue is different than the other "new" parties that claim to be forming.
The New Blue is an actual provincial party (not just a paper party) and is made up of thousands of members and donors (as well as leaders in 114 ridings) and we are looking to run candidates in every riding for the June 2nd election.
And the New Blue is made up of people who have and will always continue to stand on principle and stand up for Ontarians - the job that the Ontario PC Party will never do.
And we will campaign on policy solutions that the other establishment parties - including the Ontario PCs - will never discuss.
To keep our momentum going, please consider a contribution.

We keep moving forward because the best is yet to come.
