There are two things consistent about the Doug Ford PCs: Their rhetoric never matches their policies, and they simply copy the philosophy of the Liberal government that preceded them.

For six and a half years, the Ford PCs have failed Ontarians by breaking nearly every initial campaign promise.

Here’s the reality of the Ontario PC Party’s record:

Keeping “Wokeness” in Schools: The PCs refused to remove Kathleen Wynne’s radical sex-ed curriculum. In 2022, Ford’s PC caucus voted in favour of the NDP’s ultra-woke Bill 67, which called for fining students for “subconscious racism.”

Raising Taxes: While pretending to oppose the federal carbon tax on fuel, the Ford PCs introduced a “made in Ontario” industrial carbon tax that raises the cost of consumer goods.

Failing to Lower Electricity Rates: Rates have gone up, thanks to the PCs’ continuation of the liberal “banana republic” wind turbine rip-off.

Massive Deficit Spending: Ontario has seen the largest deficits in its history under the Ford PCs.

And that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

This is why we founded the New Blue Party in 2020: to offer Ontarians a principled alternative and fight back against a government that has failed them at every turn.
