Last night, Doug Ford was in Cambridge for an exclusive $1000-per-plate fundraiser for his PC candidate running against our MPP Belinda Karahalios.

Ford's man in Cambridge - like his candidate in every riding - was hand selected by, and is beholden to, Doug Ford, not the people of Cambridge.

Belinda continues to hold the Ford PC government to account - like opposing a drug injection site being imposed in Cambridge - because she is accountable to the people who elected her, the people of Cambridge, not Doug Ford. Click here for the recent video.

Belinda has also challenged the Ford PCs for fast-tracking the construction of a 1-million square foot industrial facility in Cambridge, rumoured to be for global corporate web giant Amazon, which is also opposed by residents. Click here for the recent video.

In July of 2021, Amazon hired the lobbying firm owned by Ford PC campaign manager, Kory Teneycke.

A month later, the Ford PCs approved accelerated construction of the Amazon facility - a process that does not follow regular planning rules and bars further public consultations or appeals.

You know who else has a deal with the Ford PCs?

Randy Hillier.

The National Telegraph article explains why:

• Randy Hillier never goes to work at Queens Park to oppose the Ford PC government legislation;

• Randy Hillier rarely criticizes Doug Ford for Ontario's COVID-19 policies;

• Randy Hillier NEVER criticizes the Ford PCs for their corruption and cronyism, like their ties to Amazon lobbyists and their opposition to Belinda's anti-voter fraud bill; and why

• Randy Hillier NEVER criticizes the Ford PCs for fast tracking the building of drug injection sites, wind turbines, and Amazon facilities in communities across Ontario that oppose them.

We already knew Randy Hillier was a progressive.

In 2018, Randy Hillier endorsed Christine Elliott for PC leader.

Randy Hillier also publicly criticized those opposing the Kathleen Wynne / Doug Ford radical sex-ed agenda as "outcasts" who deserve to be in the political "wilderness."

And before that, Randy Hillier betrayed the Landowner's Association after they propelled him into elected office.

Randy Hillier and the Ford PCs have been betraying and deceiving Ontarians ever since.

For over a year, Randy Hillier has skipped work at Queens Park to attend rallies pretending to oppose COVID-19 policies, while having a secret deal with the Ford PCs.

One part of Randy Hillier's deal resulted in the Ford PCs changing our election laws to allow the PCs, and Randy Hillier's independent riding association, to each double dip into the taxpayer trough and receive $66,532.76 annually as a per-vote taxpayer subsidy based on the same vote total that the PCs received in Randy's riding in the 2018 election.

The next part of Randy Hillier's secret deal with the Ford PCs is to try to deceive Ontarians into not supporting the New Blue Party of Ontario in the June 2022 election.

Doug Ford and Randy Hillier are each long-standing products of the corrupt and deceptive culture of the Ontario PC Party.

That's why it's time for the New Blue Party.
