Fort Erie Truckers Convoy in the National News
Tuesday, January 25, 2022
On Sunday, Belinda and I spoke in Fort Erie to kick-off the "I Support Truckers" convoy.
Click here or on the image below to watch us speak to the crowd that filled the Walmart parking lot.
Thank you to all those who came from hours away to show their support!
And thank you again to the organizers!
It was great to see the event in Fort Erie make the national news. Click here to watch the coverage.
But it was also too bad that the corporate media (this time Global News) undermined the truckers, and the supporters at the event in Fort Erie, by deliberately not mentioning that an elected Member of Provincial Parliament (Belinda Karahalios) was there to speak in support of the convoy. The reporter at the event even filmed our entire speeches and dressed Belinda with a lapel microphone but the footage was dropped from the final news coverage.
On the same day, Global News did report politicians speaking at a rally at Waterloo Town Square with "hundreds in attendance." Interestingly enough, back in October, when over 2,000 people were in attendance at a much larger rally (at that very same Waterloo Town Square) to watch Belinda and I and other speakers, Global News and the rest of the corporate television media didn't report on that event at all.
We all know the corporate media is dishonest. They don't need to report the news that Ontarians want to watch because they live off taxpayer subsidies provided by the Justin Trudeau Liberal government. And in Ontario, the corporate media knows Doug Ford and the Ontario PC Party won't challenge Trudeau on that or any other policy.
It is time to challenge these policies that are resulting in political parties and the corporate media ripping off taxpayers and providing failing and dishonest news reporting.
At the New Blue Party, we are analyzing policy options to include in our platform that will challenge the Trudeau government cutting deals to buy off the corporate media at the expense of Ontario taxpayers.
Do you agree? Let us know by clicking on one of the options below:
Yes, the New Blue Party should propose in its platform policies that will an Ontario government can implement that will counter the Trudeau Liberal government buying off the corporate media.
No, the New Blue Party should leave it alone.
To change the course, the New Blue Party of Ontario will continue to stand on principle and stand up for Ontarians - the job that the Ontario PC Party will never do and that the corporate media will try to ignore.
If you are able and willing, consider contributing to keep our momentum going.

The best is yet to come!
