I recently finished transitioning from my role as an Ontario Member of Provincial Parliament.

And while filing the last of the required paperwork at Queen's Park, I couldn't help but reflect on my good fortune.

Consistently for four years, I have felt supported every step of the way.

From starting in the PC government in 2018 to starting the New Blue Party of Ontario, and all of the trials and tribulations in between, your support was humbling and overwhelming.

You were in my corner when I tabled my first private member's bill - Bill 150 - to make voter fraud in internal party elections illegal (for the first time in Ontario's history).

And you were behind me when I stood as the only current or former PC MPP to vote against Doug Ford's undemocratic lockdown bill.

And you were there when I stood against drug injection sites.

And you supported me when I stood as the only MPP in the Ontario legislature to vote against critical race theory being mandated in our schools.

For all those times, and every other time in between, thank you!

Together, we accomplished a tremendous amount both inside and outside the legislature.

We ensured the PC government backed down and removed their code of conduct on marriage officiants from Bill 213.

Together, we ensured the PC government backed away from supporting a bill that would have mandated COVID-19 vaccination in healthcare and education.

Together, we formed the New Blue Party of Ontario.

And in our first election campaign, we received over 125,000 votes and the New Blue is the fifth largest provincial party in Ontario - after the PCs, Liberals, NDP, and Greens.

These are just a few of many examples of how, together, we challenged the establishment, balanced the narrative, and changed the course.

And it is all thanks to your support.

For that, I will be forever grateful.

Rest assured, our work did not stop on Election Day.

We have taken the first step in building and growing the New Blue!
