In 2 days, it'll be New Blue in '22!

Thursday, December 30, 2021

I feel fortunate having the opportunity to spend this Christmas season with Belinda and our son. By comparison, the last few Christmases were more of a challenge:

  • During the lead up to the Christmas season of 2017, I was forced to fight off an attempt by the Ontario PC Party to silence me and inflict financial harm with a strategic lawsuit meant to stifle dissent. I won the case when a superior court judge released his decision on December 22nd, 2017.

  • I spent the Christmas season of 2018 on the heels of the voter fraud that took place just four weeks earlier at the November 2018 PC convention. At that convention election, hundreds more ballots than voters who voted were permitted, in order to steal the election from hundreds of paying delegates, stop me from becoming PC President, and to install a slate of insiders and lobbyists, led by Brian Patterson, to the PC Party executive.

  • The Christmas season of 2019 was just before the start of the Conservative Party leadership race - I was removed from that race twice, once after winning a six-week long court case, all for the crime of being in third place and on the verge of beating the eventual "winner."

  • Last year, I spent Christmas and New Year's in a full leg cast, unable to walk, having just started treatments for osteosarcoma, after Belinda and I had just announced the start of the New Blue Party following her expulsion from the PC caucus and the Ontario PC Party.

These experiences pale in comparison to the challenges imposed on many Ontarians over the last two years leading up to this Christmas season.

But our experiences taught us to shake the dust off our feet, leave those places, and fight for a better tomorrow.

Now, I am walking again and cancer free...

Belinda is holding the Ford PCs to account at Queens' Park...

... And thanks to you, the New Blue is thriving!

With the same determination, we are charging into 2022, fighting for a better Christmas next year for those struggling this year.

In two days, it will be time for the New Blue in '22!

Establishment pollsters have already started measuring the New Blue's growth across Ontario!

We have a great opportunity to re-elect Belinda in Cambridge and elect other candidates of courage and conviction across Ontario. Click here to apply to run with the New Blue - don't delay!

Our team has been hard at work for over a year to build the New Blue Party of Ontario.

And we have a great foundation to show for it, including:

  1. A board of directors;

  2. A mission statement, principles, and constitution;

  3. A not-for-profit fund, the New Blue Ontario Fund, to handle your contributions under the review of an annual audit;

  4. Thousands of members and donors across Ontario;

  5. Registered riding associations in over 100 ridings - click here to see the few ridings we need your help to still register; and

  6. A three-stage application process for potential candidates.

We will be ready to challenge the Ford PC government in next June's election.

Let us stand up for you with the New Blue!

The best is yet to come!

Jim Karahalios

Leader, New Blue Party of Ontario
