O'Toole's Ouster. Platform Sneak Peek.
Friday, February 4, 2022
Our goal is to run New Blue candidates in every single constituency in Ontario for the June 2nd provincial election and for provincial elections after that. That is the only way to challenge the Doug Ford Ontario PC Party, their disastrous left-wing policies, and to change the course.
Hundreds of New Blue members have stepped forward and put in the necessary time and work to register and lead local New Blue constituency associations and to complete the application process to run as New Blue candidates.
We are currently working through our candidate selection process. We have received exceptional applications and can't wait to complete our first round of the candidate selection process and introduce these incredible people to you! We will soon be releasing a second deadline for the few constituencies where candidates are still needed.
In the meantime, we still need leaders to help us register New Blue constituency associations or to help support other leaders in these ridings: Davenport, Don Valley North, Kiiwetinoong, Markham-Thornhill, Mississauga-Erin Mills, Mushkegowuk-James Bay, Nickel Belt, Orleans, Scarborough Centre, Spadina-Fort York, Timmins, Windsor-West
Please let us know if you, or anyone you know, would like to be involved in building the New Blue in a local constituency!
While the New Blue Party is not a federal political party, recently I was on Sauga960am to discuss how Erin O'Toole's ouster as leader of the Conservative Party of Canada impacts Ontario provincial politics and the New Blue Party. Last week, I was also on Sauga960am to discuss some of the New Blue's commitments for the next campaign.
We have pushed for solutions to get Ontario on the right track since before Belinda was the only current or former PC MPP to vote against the initial passing of Doug Ford's lockdown bill. When others stayed quiet or voted in favour of the bill, Belinda had the courage to vote against Ford's lockdown bill. Belinda knew the chaos Ford's lockdown bill would cause and that it would do nothing to help those with COVID-19.
For months, the New Blue has been advocating for legislation and the use of fines to (not only) end the use of COVID-19 vaccine passports but to also bar their use by the private or public sector moving forward. In addition, we must expand early treatment options (such as Monoclonal Antibodies) for Ontarians with COVID-19 that need or desire such treatment. It is nothing short of nefarious that for two years, the Ford PCs have limited the availability of such treatment options for Ontarians with COVID-19.
Our specific New Blue platform commitments will fall under the themes of 1. Ending COVID-19 mandates and lockdowns; 2. Stopping the "Woke;" 3. Cleaning up cronyism and corruption in Ontario's provincial politics; 4. Empowering Ontarians; and 5. Growing a strong Ontario economy.

We will continue to stand on principle and stand up for Ontarians - the job that the Ontario PC Party will never do.
To keep our momentum going, please consider a contribution.

The best is yet to come!
