Our First Policy Declaration: Shaped by You

Thanks to your dedication and input, we received over 60 policy proposals from New Blue members across Ontario. These ideas were debated and voted on at our first in-person conference, resulting in the creation of our first-ever policy declaration. It’s now available to view at NewBlueOntario.com/declaration.

Why This Matters

Our policy declaration is more than a list of objectives; it’s proof of our commitment to transparency and the strength of our grassroots movement. Unlike other so-called “conservative” parties in Ontario, we don’t just talk about listening to members — we actually make it happen.

The Ontario PC Party does not have any grassroots policy process, nor does it have a declaration of policies that it stands for.

In fact, the last time the Ontario PCs even staged a policy process was in 2018, when PC Party brass needed something to divert attention away from the rigged presidential election at that same convention. One day later, Doug Ford announced that the PC Party would not be adopting all of the resolutions that had passed — another slap in the face to delegates from across Ontario who paid hundreds of dollars in travel, accommodation, and admission fees.

The New Blue Party’s future is built on open, uncensored contributions from members like you, and we’re grateful to everyone who took part in making this declaration a reality.
