Yesterday, to our surprise, Doug Ford called two snap by-elections in the ridings of Kanata-Carleton and Scarborough-Guildwood!

The vote for these by-elections is scheduled to be held in the middle of the summer - on July 27th!

Legally, the PC government was not required to call these by-elections until the fall - when it would have been customary. 

But Doug Ford and the Ontario PC Party are afraid.

They know their only way to hold on to power is to call by-elections when as few Ontarians are paying attention as possible. And just like during the general election of 2022, they have enlisted their friends in the mainstream media and those that want us to believe they are "independent" journalists, to ignore these by-elections and the New Blue Party.

But we remain persistent.

This is a long term commitment that requires discipline.

We have worked hard to ensure we remain in compliance with election finance laws so that Elections Ontario does not de-register us. That required 374 financial submissions from the party, our candidates, and our constituency associations over the last 12 months.

The next step is New Blue participation in these two by-elections.
