On October 7, 2023, Hamas unleashed an unprovoked and brutal terrorist attack on Israel, slaughtering innocent civilians, taking hostages, and spreading terror and destruction. 

The New Blue Party strongly condemns Hamas as a violent organization driven by the desire to annihilate Israel and the Western world. We stand unequivocally with the people of Israel, and call for the immediate return of all hostages and an end to the vile terrorism that Hamas represents. 

As Ontarians, we must ensure that such evil finds no place in our province.

At our Policy & Planning Conference this past summer, New Blue Party members gathered for the first time in person to deliberate on key issues.

We are proud to announce that our members voted in favour of Policy 9, which underscores our commitment to supporting Israel and opposing campaigns that target local Jewish communities.

Policy 9: The New Blue Party supports defunding any organization receiving public funding that supports BDS (Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions) or other campaigns targeting Israel, its economy, or local Jewish communities and/or Jewish organizations.

This vote was an important step in standing against the rise of antisemitic movements on our soil.

Our grassroots New Blue movement stands in stark contrast to the Ontario PC Party, which has never held a vote on policy that resulted in a policy declaration.

In fact, the only time the Ontario PCs allowed votes on policy was in 2018, when they had a secret deal with PAFE and Tanya Granic Allen to drive social conservatives to their convention and distract from the rigging of the vote for PC Party president. Click here to read more.
