The New Blue is Running in Two By-elections!

Friday, April 5, 2024

A byelection has been called for not one but two ridings!

And the New Blue Party of Ontario will be on the ballot in both ridings.

In Lambton-Kent-Middlesex, Keith Benn and his team have been working hard for weeks. You can read more about Keith, request a lawn sign, contact him, or support, by clicking here or visiting: newblueontario.com/lambton-kent-middlesex

In Milton, John Spina will be running again for the New Blue Party. John has been all across Ontario for the last two years getting the word out about New Blue and listening to the concerns of Ontarians. You might be wondering, why is the Ford PC government calling both by-elections at the same time?

Former PC MPP Monte McNaughton resigned six months ago, so the Ford PCs were legally required to call a byelection in the riding of Lambton-Kent-Middlesex now. In Milton, where PC MPP Parm Gill fled to be given a nice appointment to run for the Conservative Party, the Ford PCs could have waited five more months. Since 2018, in every resignation of an MPP, the Ford PC government has waited until the end of the six months to call a by-election. The real reason they called two by-elections at the same time is buried deep in the backrooms of the PC Party and has something to do with the New Blue. We will tell you more about it next time.

For now, I hope you will encourage our great candidates for putting their names forward to stand up for you!
