The Party of "Yes", Pays Itself $5.9M Annually!
Tuesday, October 19, 2021
Doug Ford and the Ontario PC Party have released their most recent political ad referring to themselves as "the party saying yes."
And for three years they haven't disappointed.
The Ontario PCs have lived up to the label of being "yes-men" - like the McGuinty-Wynne Liberals whose legacy the PCs have happily continued.
Whether it is saying "yes" to record-setting deficit spending, "yes" to broken election promises, or "yes" to lobbyists running the provincial government, the Ontario PCs have proven to be just another corrupt establishment leftist political party working against the taxpayer.
Just before the summer, the Ontario PCs said "yes" to another McGuinty-Wynne Liberal policy - using millions in taxpayer dollars to fund the operations and re-election campaigns of the establishment political parties.
As a result, the Ontario PC Party now receives $5.9 million annually in taxpayer funds, the Ontario NDP $5 million, the Ontario Liberals $2.8 million, and the Green Party $700,000. Even Independent MPPs Roman Baber and Randy Hillier receive taxpayer money to fund their political operations and re-election efforts.
On October 7th, Belinda asked the PC government during Question Period why they think it is acceptable to use millions in taxpayer dollars to fund the establishment political parties, at a time when many haven't been able to find work or have been let go from their jobs.

Not surprisingly, the entitled PC government avoided the question and justified the move.
What the Ontario PCs once referred to as "political welfare," they now call the "democratization" of Ontario politics. But there is nothing "democratic" about using millions in taxpayer money to fund the establishment political parties. It is simply theft of taxpayer money to line the pockets of the "lobbyists" and "strategists" who run the establishment political parties.
There are only two Members of Provincial Parliament in Ontario who are not taking taxpayer money to fund their re-election campaigns - that's Belinda and MPP Rick Nicholls.
The New Blue Party of Ontario relies exclusively on generous donations from our supporters and members to fund our party.
Our supporters care about the future of Ontario.
New Blue supporters have helped us register over 60 New Blue riding associations with Elections Ontario. We only have 31 more left to establish.
New Blue supporters have also helped us establish a founding board (click here) and a founding constitution - including our mission statement and principles (click here).
And soon, New Blue supporters will help us find great candidates to run in every riding across Ontario for next June's election. In the near future, our candidate application will be made available.
Other political parties take years to reach these milestones upon their formation.
But thanks to you, we continue to make great progress.
Remember, the best is yet to come!
Jim Karahalios
Leader, New Blue Party of Ontario
P.S. Unlike the establishment political parties, we do not receive the per-vote taxpayer subsidy. Our marketing is entirely funded by voluntary contributions from our supporters.
