I am excited to be heading to Peterborough tomorrow to support a special restaurant: Peterburgers!

Also tomorrow, Belinda will be in Brantford with New Blue candidates!

1. In Peterborough at Peterburgers!

In December 2021, Peterburgers was shut down by local bureaucrats because the owner courageously refused to ask patrons about their COVID-19 vaccination status.

Tomorrow is Peterburgers' grand reopening, and I am excited to be attending! Here are the details:

Peterburgers was shut down for months as a direct result of the Ford PC government's lockdown bill, Bill 195 - the one Belinda voted against, the only current or former PC MPP to do so.

2. Belinda in Brant!

Speaking of Belinda, tomorrow, she will be attending a meet and greet at the Bistro Seven restaurant in Brantford, along with New Blue prospective candidates.

I grew up working in my family's fish and chips restaurant and I later ran it with my mom for a few months after he passed before we closed it down.

Owning and operating a restaurant is hard enough without overreaching government intervention that would make it a nightmare.

The Ontario PC Party put the interests of lobbyists ahead of the small business owners they pretend to represent.

Our platform, the New Blueprint, includes commitments to ban lobbyists from party politics and ban the use of COVID-19 vaccine passports in the public and private sectors.

We will continue to stand on principle and stand up for Ontarians - the job that the Ontario PC Party will never do.
