Trudeau's Gone. Ford Could Be Next – Let’s Get Ready!
Tuesday, January 7, 2025
Justin Trudeau has announced he will resign.
In doing so, Trudeau prorogued Parliament until March 24th and announced he would step aside only after the Liberal Party selected its next leader.
That means Canadians will not be heading into a federal election just yet.
Doug Ford is watching all of this.
Ford knows Trudeau’s stalled resignation provides the Ontario PC government the opportunity to call the early provincial election they have been planning for the last year.
Just yesterday it was reported that Ford’s top pollster, lobbyist Nick Kouvalis, was conducting a poll asking Ontarians for their opinions on an early provincial election taking place in the spring of 2025 — even though the next provincial election is not scheduled to take place until June 2026.
All signs point to Doug Ford calling the early provincial election he has been craving in the weeks ahead.
The New Blue Party needs to be ready.
Wouldn’t it be great if Doug Ford was next to follow Trudeau into the political wilderness?
