This week...

Belinda read a petition into the record calling on the Ford government to revoke their zoning approval for construction of a 1-million square foot mega warehouse in her riding of Cambridge - rumoured to be for Amazon. Click here.

Local residents are opposed to the project.

Belinda had previously challenged the Ford PCs about it during Question Period.

In July 2021, Amazon hired the lobbying firm owned by Ford PC campaign manager, Kory Teneycke.

A month later, the Ford PCs approved accelerated construction of the mega warehouse - meaning it wouldn't need to follow the municipal planning process.

Two days after Belinda read the petition, the City of Cambridge announced they were fast-tracking the matter to be heard three months earlier (on March 15th rather than June) for possible approval.

One day after Belinda read the petition, Derek Sloan and co-conspirator Rick Nicholls announced their first virtual campaign event was taking place in and surrounding Belinda's riding of Cambridge.

In October, Nicholls said he might become a lobbyist (click here) after the June 2nd election.

The Sloan-Nicholl Team is in provincial politics to help the Ford PCs by coming after Belinda's seat at Queen's Park.

That only leaves one question left to answer...

Are Doug Ford and Kory Teneycke getting Derek Sloan and Rick Nicholls good jobs at Amazon before or after the June 2nd election?
