PC “Wokeness” and the New Blue's Policy Solutions

We’ve all heard it: “At least the Ontario PCs aren’t as bad as the Liberals.”

But when it comes to DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) policies—the Ontario PCs are just as bad.

In fact, they’ve embraced and expanded the very same agenda the Liberals started.

Doug Ford left Kathleen Wynne’s radical sexual education curriculum in place in Ontario schools.

The Ford PCs have refused to scrap the bizarre “Chief Equity Officer” position at the Ministry of Education.

They’ve doubled down on the Liberals’ “Equity and Inclusive Education Strategy” by enforcing racial data collection in education and redefining “hateful remarks” in teaching standards, threatening free speech and local democracy at the school board level.

The PCs’ latest “progress report” promises to grow DEI initiatives across the province, including pushing race-based hiring and targeted programs based on identity, not merit.

The Ford PCs exploit their base for political gain—extracting time and money during campaigns, only to abandon them once in power and continue to advance left-wing priorities.

The Ontario PC Party is run top-down like a dictatorship. There is no room for dissent. No input from the members.

That’s not how we do things at the New Blue.

We are Ontario’s only provincial party with a grassroots policy process.

You—the members—propose and vote on the ideas that shape our platform!

Policy 7: Alternative Schooling Tax Credits
 
The New Blue Party supports parental school choice in the form of alternative schooling tax credits and/or a student voucher system.

Policy 8: Stop “Woke” Activism
 
The New Blue Party supports ending “woke” activism with the removal of critical race theory and gender identity theory from Ontario schools.
