Doug Ford Has All But Endorsed Mark Carney

Canada’s federal election campaign has been underway for 19 days, and that’s been more than enough time for Doug Ford to display his true (red) colours.

So far, Ford has done nothing but heap praise on Mark Carney and the federal Liberals. This includes:

  • Lauding Carney as a “great guy” after their first meeting.

  • Inviting Chrystia Freeland to his Etobicoke home and gushing about their “incredible relationship”: “We went through a lot of battles together.”

  • Telling MSNBC that Carney is “a bright individual who understands finances like no other person.”

  • Declaring Carney “an extremely astute business mind” and “someone [he] can work with.”

If there’s one thing we can count on, it’s that the Ford PCs will continue to carry out the Liberals’ agenda on the provincial level.

From imposing an industrial carbon tax on Ontarians, to handing out billions of taxpayer dollars to electric vehicle producers, to pushing gender ideology in our schools, the Ford PCs have aligned themselves with the Trudeau-Carney Liberals every step of the way.

The Ontario PC Party is now an extension of the Liberal Party of Canada.

That is why the New Blue Party of Ontario was created—to restore fiscal responsibility, protect individual freedoms, and ensure our province’s future is one of hope, opportunity, and prosperity.
