On Monday, Doug Ford announced a 25% surcharge on electricity exports to Michigan, New York, and Minnesota after gleefully threatening to cut off electricity to U.S. states "with a smile on [his] face." Maybe he should have read The Art of the Deal.

Within minutes of Mark Carney’s win, Doug Ford rushed to congratulate him, gushing that “together, [they will] unleash the Canadian economy and make our country more secure by building big, bold projects.”

Doug Ford’s 189-million-dollar winter snap election did not achieve the “stronger mandate” that Ford repeatedly claimed he needed to “fight” US President Donald Trump. According to PC insiders, Ford was “disappointed” that his party didn’t gain more seats.
